Playoffs

The Celtics are looking good against the Pistons.  They actually won a game on the road.  Call a national holiday!!  I take the Big 3 and Co. in this series.

In the Lakers Spurs series, I take the Lakers.  I might even take the Lakers to win the Finals.  The reason I picked them is because Lamar Odom is en fuego so far in the Playoffs.  Derek Fisher will be the man to stop if they make it to the Finals.  He has a lot of playoff experience, and will have nothing to lose.  Kobe, he will be hard to stop also.  If he looks inside a little bit more than he already does, Pau Gasol will be just unstopable.  If Gasol isn’t open, Odom will be open to shoot his bread and butter shot, the long jumper from the wing.  The sleeper in the series so far, Vladamir Radmanovic.  The player that needs to step up, Ronny Turiaf.  He is beastly, but needs to step up.  If he does, the Lakers will be the NBA Champs.  Watch the series.  If the Lakers follow half of the things I said they should do, they will be hard to beat…

Red Sox

The Red Sox just got back Terry Francona from taking the Baltimore series off.  To make that welcome even better, Jon Lester threw a no hitter!  Last year, we saw Clay Buchholz throw one on September 1st, 2007.  This year, Jon Lester.  They are both one of the youngest pitchers to throw a no hitter.  He threw 130 pitches.  The Red Sox won, (duh), 7-0.
